About Our Travel Family
We are your run-of-the-mill family of 5 who absolutely loves to travel, and would love to do so full time. But… when you factor in jobs, school, sports, dance, and all of the other activities that come with an active family spanning elementary school through high school, we just can’t be on the road as much as we would like.
And then there is the money factor…
We are NOT independently wealthy. I (Sean) have a great job that I love, Wendie works full-time in the summer and part-time during the rest of the year, and we both also have a few side hustles (selling on eBay, bartending, our travel channel, etc…) that we use to manage our family finances, save for the future (college, retirement, etc…), AND fund our travel adventures.

Throughout the years, we have learned travel hacking tricks that have allowed us to take amazing adventures (Grand Cayman, Australia, and Thailand for example) for the same price as a local trip in the US, and in most cases even cheaper.
We look forward to sharing our adventures (from small day trips to epic two-week adventures), the travel hacking secrets we use to turn our travel dreams into a reality, and all of the other tips we have learned while traveling with kids, and traveling with my (Sean’s) gluten and dairy allergies .
